We spoke with Denina and asked a few questions about NFTs, and her artistic process.
With an aim to promote a world where people can own their sexuality without feeling afraid or even ashamed, her 1/1 NFTs on SuperRare and Foundation, as well as her small batch collection, The Mona Lana, Denina has gained widespread acclaim throughout the NFT community. Through a combination of digital art and painting, Denina illustrates the different cultures (particularly black culture) present in her own life, taking a unique and personal approach to representing people of color in contemporary art. Her art explores human relationships, morphological diversity, and body movements. Lana Denina is a Montreal-based painter of Beninese and French origin. Since I just recently dropped new artworks into the collection there’s no date for the next drop scheduled yet. The collection consists of biblically accurate visualizations. I’m currently working on a continuation of my Celestial Beings collection on the Tezos blockchain. Once I am happy with this stage I use Cinema 4D to create my 3D assets and animations and post-process them in Adobe After Effects.ĭo you have any drops/collections on the horizon we should keep an eye out for? I always start my process by finding a subject, creating a moodboard, and doing visual and thematic research. Sometimes these subjects can be illustrated subtly and sometimes quite bold. In every artwork I create, I’m trying to show process or raise a feeling or thought that I currently have on my mind. How would you describe your art? What’s your process like? At first, the tech felt a bit too complicated to me but when a good friend of mine introduced me to it in depth I was hooked by the concept of digital ownership.

How did you first become interested/involved in NFTs?ĭue to my professional background, I’ve already been part of various motion graphics and 3D communities in which discussions about NFTs started popping up left and right in early 2021. We spoke with Pfeiffer and asked a few questions about NFTs, and his artistic process. In the NFT space, Pfeiffer has become known for his unique, surreal, and sometimes haunting 3D pieces that have proliferated throughout both the Ethereum and Tezos NFT ecosystems. With a focus on 3D and motion design, he has been tapped for client work by a range of influential brands, including Mercedes and the NFL.
Also known as jopfe, he replicates feelings, thoughts, and ideas into three-dimensional moving images, often creating a contrast between weird alienating atmospheres and organic human shapes. Jonas Pfeiffer is a visual artist based in Hamburg, Germany who is inspired by the multiplicity of the human mind. I have been asked a lot what the scriptures on my creations say so I decided to mint the original high-res texture with a brief description.
